Within the framework of practical and field training, the students of LEPL General Giorgi Kvinitadze Cadets Military Lyceum visited the LEPL State Military Scientific-Technical Center "Delta".
The cadets viewed the manufacturing facilities, got familiar with the military equipment and weapons manufactured by "Delta" and received the comprehensive information from the center's representatives on the topics of their interest.

At the end of the visit, the cadets were presented with the branded accessories of the center.

Within the framework of his visit to Georgia, the Minister of Defense of Hungary, Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky, together with the Minister of Defense of Georgia, Juansher Burchuladze, met with the heads of SMSTC "Delta".

The parties discussed the cooperation possibilities in the defense industry between the two countries. The General Director of SMSTC "Delta", Ioseb Loladze gave a presentation to the guests about the center's activities and future plans. The importance of the development of the military industry was emphasized at the meeting. Also, the conversation touched on the capabilities of armored vehicles, drones, personal armor protection systems produced by the Military-Technical Center.

Within the framework of his visit to Georgia, the Minister of Defense of Hungary, Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky, has already met with the Minister of Defense of Georgia, Juansher Burchuladze, and the heads of the ministry.

The renewed utilization base corresponding to international standards was opened today in Dedoplistkskaro. The base will increase the current utilization performance in the future. The Deputy Minister of Defense Giorgi Khaindrava, General Director of State Military Scientific and Technical Center "Delta" Ioseb Loladze, the US Ambassador to Georgia Kelly C. Degnan and Director of Slovenian International Organization ITF Tomaž Lovrenčič inspected the completed infrastructure projects at the base and got acquainted with the working process.

Within the framework of the project - “Physical Security and Stockpile Management and Conventional Weapons Destruction in Georgia”, the utilization base was built at the request of the international company ITF, with the support and financing of the USA. It is planned to manufacture high-performance equipment/machinery at the base by "Delta", as well as safe utilization/demilitarization of expired, decommissioned munitions.

​In 2021, the Ministry of Defense signed a memorandum of understanding with the Human Security Strengthening Trust Fund (ITF) of the Republic of Slovenia, which aimed to partner in the demilitarization of munitions that have expired, are unusable for their primary purpose, and have been written off by the relevant authority.
